At bartolo Lisboa bakehouse, we celebrate the authenticity and craftsmanship of Portuguese cuisine. Our dips, spreads, sauces, and jams are lovingly made in-house with the freshest ingredients, bringing the true essence of Portugal to every dish. From rustic, artisanal breads like sourdough, rye, and Bolo de Caco to our signature Pastél de Nata, each creation reflects tradition with a touch of innovation.

But bartolo is more than a bakehouse, we are a Portuguese tasca where community gathers from sunrise to starlight. Celebrating a birthday and a friend’s visit to Malaysia we decided to go to Bartolo’s located at the rear Annex to Central Market / Pasar Seni. Enjoyed the live music, great coffee and Sangria as well as their signature Portuguese Tarts! They have a wide variety of lovely treats at the Bakery as well as an AM and PM menu. Great ambience and the outdoor balcony provides nostalgic views of the River Of Life and the city skyline. The evening we went they hosted the impromptu Jazz night, to find out details, best call first. A Most enjoyable evening.

A nice place for Portuguese cuisine. The sourdough is good. The pasta is also nice. I love their egg tarts.. unique and nice. The fruit juice I had was good too. Had a heart beet.. mixed fruits with beetroot.
They also have live band on Thursday night.

After searching high and low, I finally found the real deal pastel de nata in KL — rich, flaky, and unbelievably delicious, even better than the ones I had in Portugal. Mission accomplished. And as a bonus, their team deserves kudos for being both pleasant and attentive. Truly a delightful experience. Keep it up!
