Coming up
Afterdark #019 — World Fusion Jazz: Rodrigo Parejo Quartet
Expect a blend of jazz, global rhythms and melodic textures, brought together through flute, keys, bass and percussion. A little unexpected, a little improvisational, and best enjoyed with a drink and a table full of good company.
Afterdark #020 — Jazz, Bebop, Contemporary: Boys That Swing
Born from late-night jam sessions, Boys That Swing is a quintet with a love for the many sides of jazz. Their repertoire moves from bebop and straight-ahead jazz to contemporary jazz and fusion, bringing together the sounds of jazz greats with their own arrangements and original material.
Poetry Slam
This is the redemption show! 8 poets, 2 rounds.

Afterdark #018 — Feels & Groovy Sauce: McLovin
McLovin' serves neo-soul and R&B love songs that feel like a slow dance you didn't plan. Expect music that feels like a flirty text at 1am. Slightly chaotic, mostly charming but impossible to ignore. McLovin' doesn't just play songs. They overshare with melody.
Poetry Slam
Poetry Slam Chapter 5 returns to bartolo. Watch poets compete with spoken poetry!
Afterdark #017 — Elvira Arul
With a voice as powerful as it is soulful, Elvira has spent more than a decade establishing herself as one of Malaysia’s most compelling performers.
Flamenco at Sunset: Workshop with Davinia from Sevilla
Before flamenco becomes a dance, it begins with rhythm - a beat, a clap and eventually, everyone joins in. We’re bringing that spirit to Bartolo this September with a bulerías workshop, live guitar and dinner on the terrace, just in time for sunset.
Afterdark #016 — J-Soul | Jazz | R&B: Chiwa & Friends
We’re slowing things down and settling into the groove with a night of J-Soul, Jazz, R&B and a touch of City Pop. Join Chiwa & Friends for an intimate evening where soulful vocals meet warm grooves, lush melodies and the kind of music that makes you want to stay for just one more song.
Afterdark #015 — A Tap Dance Show: Saro
A special night where tap meets live music.
